  1. Thank you so much for your informative post. I also suggest WASK to publish and manage your ads from one single platform. I am using it for three months and my conversion rate has already doubled.

  2. Great info. Totally with you on #1, er #5 (your first one) regarding podcasting on YouTube. I still believe YouTube will eventually give it more space if you will if for no other reason to combat Spotify now offering video podcasts. Also starting to slowly lean into TikTok. I personally don't care for it BUT I do want to help people where they are so there's that.

Going back to podcasts on YouTube. I've heard arguments for and against starting a separate channel for a podcast. If it's totally not aligned with your current channel, I get it, but if it's close, why? Since you just did an interview with Roberto that included video, would love to hear why you're starting a new podcast channel rather than incorporate on this channel.

    Thanks!

  3. Great video. My two cents, text messaging marketing is really dicey for most people. 99% of businesses will do it wrong. Big brand, small brand, text messaging is really hard to get right. I had great success with it when I was on the marketing team at a huge mobile phone brand in the US – but that's a telecom that people expected to hear from. I've seen other world-class brands fall on their face with it, and lots of smaller brands use it to turn me off from ever buying from them again. VERY rarely have I ever said, "I'm glad this business decided to text me." IME, proceed with caution.

  4. Hi Pat! great video as always! Tiktok and YT for podcasts are going strong! On a separate note, if you ever need content ideas, could you cover Fandoms and Fan Accounts and how to create community there? Music for the most part 🙂 Thanks and happy 2022!

  5. 2:28 Pat said: "..but what about for the regular person? what about somebody like me"! isn't that's why we love Pat? isn't he the most humble successful entrepreneur influencer millionaire online? 😀

  6. Great seeing you, Pat! You don't just talk the talk, but you also walk the walk! I'm not a big fan of TikTok, but I need to investigate it some more. I agree with doing a podcast on YouTube. Cheers, Pat!

  7. Whats funny is ive been Working on most of these all last year and im about to release it really soon. Im so glad im heading in the right direction. Thank you for the confirmation!!

  8. I like that YouTube and podcasts are coming together. I think it is especially helpful for finding new podcasts. While I still listen to most podcasts off YouTube, I have found some new ones through YouTube. I am also excited by the idea of the private niche communities off of the major social media platforms. I imagine users don't get bombarded with advertisements and feel more connected to one another through such communities. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

  9. Hey Pat! Thanks for those trends!
I'm trying to start a business in finding, editing and providing these short clips for podcasters and youtubers. I went through your video podcasting course on this subject as well and got some great insights. Do you have some advice on finding the right audience for this service?

  10. Thank you sir loving your work so much. Any video tagged Pat Flynn is a must watch for me cause I have been on online marketing for the past 8years, since 5th grade in 2014 and am just coming close to earning my first buck cause of your videos. May God bless your work.

  11. Podcasting on YouTube took off majorly last year. 50% of my clients (I'm in pod production) want that video option. But I strongly feel that if you want your podcast on youtube, it should be video first. Cause that's optimized for the platform. I've had more success with client podcasts who focused on YouTube and also put the audio out on pod apps. The SEO works a bit differently (which is why you can't halfass the podcast aspect of it) but with good quality audio and great content, having the audio available on pod apps helps really spread the episodes across the web.
